The Truth is the second single to be released from Matt Xander's forthcoming album. A departure from Xander's normal high energy, rock-infused hip hop, The Truth sees him explore a deeper lyrical approach to the subject of the title.

Over a beat by the SA production team The Bookies, Xander's acerbic lyrics cut deep into the heart of The Truth.

The Bandcamp release includes an alternative version of the track, mixed and mastered by Caustic Yoda. The B-side to the track is a spoken word piece that is the perfect accompaniment to the A-side.
